New! Make payments even easier with Apple and Google Pay checkout options.

Mobile payments via payyo

Picture this - you’ve been running around all day and have finally got five minutes to yourself to book adventure park tickets to keep the kids entertained at Easter. Phew! You grab your smartphone, head to the attraction’s website and quickly add the right tickets to your basket, even opting to add an animal experience upgrade as a special treat.

Then, disaster strikes! As you progress to payment, you realise that you don’t have your debit card and can’t remember the CVV number. Your PayPal account is logged out and you can’t remember your password.  How frustrating! You’re out of time now and will have to give up and try to remember to book later…if there are any tickets left!

As well as being frustrating for the guest, this scenario also poses the risk of lost revenue for the attraction. With over 80% of our clients’ bookings now coming from a mobile device, the booking process must be mobile-first. We've been busy working with Apple and Google Pay to bring our customers a fully integrated experience through DigiTickets and Payyo.

Payyo integration

Here are just a few of the benefits:

Increased conversion rates

Enable your customers to pay quickly and easily with the touch of a fingerprint or via facial recognition. With no need to add card details, mobile payments that use Apple Pay or Google Pay remove a step at the checkout which can significantly reduce basket abandonment rates.

Faster and more secure payments

In today’s fast-paced world, consumers want everything, now! Thankfully as their payment information is stored within their digital wallet, the checkout process is sped up dramatically, enabling your customers to make quick and easy purchases on the move.

While credit and debit card details can be stored via a mobile device browser, additional authentication is often required and not everyone is comfortable with storing their card details in this way. Thanks to fingerprint or facial recognition authentication, additional security is added by default, and for the forgetful among us, there’s no need to remember your CVV number. For operators, this can also result in fewer queries and disputes related to purchases.

Build brand trust

Similarly to adding social proof and customer reviews to your booking process, Apple and Google Pay badges are easily recognised and help create a sense of trust for the customer, knowing their details and safely secured and they have full control over their payments and authorisation.

How to get started

The good news is, if you’re already a DigiTickets customer, our booking software integrates seamlessly with a number of payment gateway options that support Apple and Google Pay. Better still, Payyo, our exclusive payment solution is specially designed for the leisure industry and can be quickly and easily set up within a matter of hours, helping you manage and grow your business through a complete range of payment solutions.

If you’re not using DigiTickets yet, many payment gateway providers that integrate with your booking system may already offer this functionality so it’s worth talking to your provider about your options.
